In Memoriam

I adopted Bitsy several years ago.
She was a big girl at the time (18 pounds) and you nicknamed her "Bits of
Beef". I want to thank for you allowing me the opportunity to adopt Bitsy.
Within a day or two from bringing her home, she became my best friend and my
"little daughter" and was that for many years. I never knew how attached to
her I would become. Today I grieve as I had to put my little girl to sleep last week. She had gotten sick with Diabetes last April and, unfortunately despite my
frequent to the Vet (almost every weekend), we were never able to get her regulated. Back in November I had asked the Vet to let me know when she thought it was time to put Bitsy to sleep and only recently had Bitsy grown tired of the fight.
I was then informed that it was time. I've enclosed a picture of my beautiful girl for you.
P. S. Because of my wonderful experiences with Bitsy, I started
volunteering at PAWS and have been for a couple of years now. =^..^=
